Bidding Phase 5.1 Prepare complete plan sets, technical specification, tabulated quantities, cost estimate, Construction schedule, prevailing wages and bid documents for bidding following standard engineering practices. 5.2 The Engineer should conduct a construction Pre-Bid meeting at the site and answer any technical questions. They should provide an addendum which will include the minutes from the Pre-Bid meeting, the sign-in sheet and responses to any questions that are received. Once bids are tabulated by the County, the engineer should provide the County with a recommendation to bid as well as an NTP letter to the contractor. – Construction Administration Phase 6.1 Provide up to 100 hours of site services at key points during construction to ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with the project plans and specifications. 6.2 Engineer to provides all of the services necessary during construction throughout the course of the contract which will include a pre-construction meeting, coordinating change orders, review and certify Applications for Payment, send in Certified Payroll and a Pre-final inspection with Punch List Items and a final inspection to close out the project. 6.3 Review the initial project progress schedule and any updates to the schedule submitted by the contractor.
