The contractor will be responsible for: A. Pre-Broadcast Preparation Coordinating with City Council staff to obtain the calendar of meetings, hearing schedules, and agenda items. Setting up all necessary broadcast equipment (audio, mixing boards, microphones, headsets, backup systems). Conducting sound checks in Council Chambers or designated venues before each broadcast. Ensuring compliance with all City Council guidelines, security procedures, and building access policies. B. Live Coverage Providing gavel-to-gavel live coverage of Council Stated Meetings and designated Committee Hearings. Delivering clear, uninterrupted audio transmission for the duration of the proceedings. Assigning on-air hosts or announcers (if required) to introduce proceedings, provide context, or identify speakers, as directed by Council. Managing audio levels, clarity, and troubleshooting during live sessions. C. Technical Services Providing backup power and redundant recording systems to prevent broadcast interruption. Maintaining FCC compliance and adherence to professional broadcast standards.
