• The contract lab will be responsible for sample pick-up from the PWD-BLS facility for transport to the contract laboratory, or providing for shipping. PCB contaminant-free sample containers (including field blanks), shipping containers and packing supplies must be supplied by the contract lab. PWD will utilize the contract laboratory’s shipping contract or courier service, and the laboratory must include the cost of shipping or courier in its proposal and on each invoice. Preference may be given to laboratories capable of providing courier service for sample pick-up from PWD-BLS. • Testing of water, wastewater, treatment residuals and solids (and other related media) for PCBs and PCB congeners according to EPA Method 1668, Revision A or the latest version of the approved method is required.
