The Work related to the “Jessup Avenue Milling and Paving Project” will include cutting back 1’ on either side of the existing sanitary sewer trench (proposed 8 L.F. wide), excavation of sanitary sewer trench area (8 L.F. wide and 335 L.F. long, 5 ½” deep below existing paved surface), milling of the entire roadway (355’ in length and 25’ in width) from curb to curb (from North end of driveway at 109 Jessup Avenue South past a MH at the intersection of Jessup Avenue and Hudson Street) to a depth of 1 ½”, excluding milling of the sanitary sewer trench area, installation of 4” of Superpave Base Course HMA 19mm in prepared sanitary sewer trench, compacted in place to match milled street elevation, adjust two sanitary sewer manholes to be ½” below finished grade, milling tie in adjacent to Hudson Street, Vass Street and North end of Jessup Avenue 1 ½” in depth, 18” in width, installation of tack coat, 0.10 gal/s.y., prior to overlying cartway, installation of scratch coat, ¾” in center, ½” on edge, of Superpave Wearing Course HMA 9.5mm for entire roadway (Jessup Avenue), 2% crown on center to edge, compacted in place and blended to match the existing grade, installation of 1 ½” of Superpave Wearing Course HMA 9.5mm for entire roadway 2% crown on center to edge, compacted in place on top of the scratch coat surface, seal all joints with PG-64-22 adjacent to all curbs, inlets, manholes, concrete edges and existing pave edges to provide water tight seal, pavement notches 1 ½” in depth, 18” wide, blend into street pavement at all existing driveways, restoration of all rolled curbing disturbed during construction, seal joint between new pavement and rolled curbing, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job in accordance with the PennDOT Pub 408 and RC Standards recommendations and these Contract Documents.
