Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the City of Philadelphia to purchase Heavy Truck Washing; 2.1.1 Seller shall use their best care, skill, and diligence in supervising, directing, and performing the work as listed herein which shall include but not be limited to methods, techniques, and means for completing all portions of the work. 2.1.2 Vehicles shall be washed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Vehicles shall be washed on private City property away from highways and sidewalks. 2.1.3 Vehicles shall be washed at City locations. The DFS shop location supervisor shall notify seller of the required service and the site where the vehicles shall be washed. An authorized Fleet Management employee must be present for vehicle washing. The authorized employee must sign off on the completed service with the employee's name and payroll number. No vehicle washing services shall be provided during inclement weather (rain, snow, sleet) or temperatures 35 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. While DFS intends to utilize this contract to wash groups of vehicles, it reserves the right, in case of emergency or special situations, to request the seller to only wash one vehicle. Seller shall not be permitted to refuse or impose a minimum quantity for washing.
