HVAC Support a) Provide a qualified, certified HVAC Technician with working knowledge of related systems for service calls, on an as-needed basis, for the troubleshooting of systems listed below throughout the Housing Authority City of Pittsburgh sites. This includes the Climate Master geothermal ground source heat pump systems at Northview Heights, Homewood North, and Arlington Heights. b) Various makes and models of the following: i) Refrigerators/Freezers ii) Window Air Conditions iii) Geo Thermal Ground Source Heat Pumps iv) Central Systems v) Chillers, Operations and Maintenance vi) Split Systems vii)Forced Air Heating Systems c) Service and maintenance on all of the above shall include, but is not limited to, the following: i) Repair of leaks in the sealed systems (if applicable) that are in violation of EPA laws ii) Replacement of compressors, filter dryers, filters, piping, fittings and all other necessary components in repair of these leaks iii) Replacement of any necessary expansion valves iv) Replacement or repair of any electrical controls or devices to include but not limited to: v) Temperature Controllers vi) Flow Switches vii)Contactors viii) High & Low Pressure Controls ix) Timers x) Overloads xi) Condenser Fan Motors xii)Bearings xiii) Pulleys xiv) Drive Belts xv) Evaporator Fan Motors d) Maintenance of all duct systems, if requested by HACP e) HACP must approve all repairs recommended by the Contractor, prior to the start of work. f) HACP will provide some material. Contractor must obtain parts from HACP stock first and service will be charged on a per hour basis.
