Specifications include, but are not limited to: Montgomery County, Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Health, seeks a qualified consultant to (1) conduct a workforce capacity assessment, 2) conduct a workforce development and training needs assessment, and (3) present recommendations for optimal staffing and structure, and a workforce development and training plan. The assessment, recommendations, and plan should be designed to support successful recruitment, retention, and advancement of a diverse public health workforce that is prepared to deliver essential public health services for a county of more than 860,000 residents. Applicants are expected to be experienced in public health workforce development and training needs assessments, capacity assessment, and development of public health workforce training plans.
