The Work comprises the use of Community Development Block Grant funds to update the rear entrance and make it ADA accessible. This includes the demolition of the existing concrete stairs and pad at this entrance along with handrails, the roof over the concrete stairs along with all posts, the wind block, a downspout, associated walls and foundations and removal of existing electrical outlet, wiring and conduit up to the service panel. Following the demolition, the work includes the construction of a concrete ADA ramp, foundations, concrete block walls and landing with stainless steel handrails, new concrete stairs with stainless steel handrails, sawcutting of the paved parking lot for the installation of the concrete ADA ramp and stairs, a new canopy roof and posts with built in gutter and downspouts, steel filled with concrete bollards, new vertical siding over T1-11 at three locations, installation of a Norton 5740K3 Power Operator Kit to the existing exterior door, pavement restoration where parking lot was sawcut for new structures to be installed, ADA compliant handicapped parking space with accessible way and paint, concrete tire stop and ADA signage and paint, relocate of two (2) existing lights and one (1) security camera to below new canopy roof, install one (1) new light fixture, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job in accordance with Manufacturer’s instructions and the Contract Documents.
