Specifications include, but are not limited to: 16.0 Gasoline Description 16.1 PREMIUM GRADE GASOLINE shall be in accordance with ASTM D4814 (latest issue); shall have an antiknock index of at least 91 and shall be adjusted for season and locality in accordance with recommendations in ASTM D4814. 16.2 MEDIUM GRADE GASOLINE shall be in accordance with ASTM D4814 (latest issue); shall have an antiknock index of at least 89 and shall be adjusted for season and locality in accordance with recommendations in ASTM D4814. 16.3 REGULAR GRADE GASOLINE shall be in accordance with ASTM D4814 (latest issue); shall have an antiknock index of at least 87 and shall be adjusted for season and locality in accordance with recommendations in ASTM D4814. 16.4 The acceptable “maintain” level of the detergent-dispersant additive shall be the lowest additive concentration (LDC) certified for use by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 16.5 Bidders are asked to quote on all three (3) grades. The estimated annual volume noted in Item 12.1 of the Scope of Work is the total purchased, regardless of grade. 17.0 Biodiesel Fuel Description 17.1 BIODIESEL shall be in accordance with ASTM D6751-12 (latest issue) or current version. Shall be a fuel comprised of mono-alkyl esters of long chain fatty acids derived from virgin soybean, rapeseed, corn, or canola oils. This specification is for pure 100% biodiesel prior to blending, designated B100. * - Sulfur content shall comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations. ** - The cloud point of biodiesel is generally higher than petroleum based diesel fuel and should be taken into consideration when blending. 17.2 The biodiesel fuel shall be a blend by volume. These fuels shall conform to the specification listed for Biodiesel. The blend of fuels shall be accomplished by the injection blending or splash blending method. 18.0 Off-Road Description 18.1 Off road fuel is included in this bid. 18.2 Pricing for off-road Biodiesel shall follow the instructions listed in Items 8.1.2 and 8.1.3. 19.0 Winterized Blend Description 19.1 A winterized blend is now included in this bid for biodiesel products. A separate add-on price will be provided for use of the winterized blend. 19.2 The winterized blend shall be provided upon request of the ordering agency.
