Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.SITE: Establishing safety perimeter and fall-out zones; ensuring suggested product will not exceed safety area around the river confluence; 2.PYROTECHNICS USED: Designing the 25-minute show including recommended shell size, artistic design, and soundtrack, and provide product synopsis; 3.STAFFING: number of team members the Contractor will use, what their role is before, during and after the fireworks show; 4.INSPECTIONS: Schedule and documentation as required by the City’s Bureau of Fire; 5.LIFE SAFETY ISSUES: Emergency Action Plan 6.FIRE PROTECTION: The Bureau of Fire requires the following: Certificate of Liability insurance, fireworks site safety plan, fireworks display permit, barge lay-out, barge site plan, and scheduling of load in dates, and escorts. The design of the fireworks display should be patriotic in nature and contain elements consistent with the Fourth of July, Independence Day, and a grand finale. The selected respondent should have their proposed display set to a musical soundtrack, which would need to be provided to the City in digital format for distribution to media and radio partners, as well as broadcast within Point State Park. Selected respondent would be responsible for all rights to music used in this soundtrack. All fees including docking fees, fire watch fees, barge security, transportation, barge rental, and any other fees associated with production of the display will be the responsibility of the selected respondent.
