• Oversee and implement holistic food service operations • Source cost competitive, fresh and healthy ingredients to produce meals from scratch • Leverage in kind donations when possible • Plan and execute menus to ensure balanced, nutritious and culturally appropriate meals to meet reasonable dietary needs of a diverse residential population • Provide various healthy options for both cafeteria and grab and go menus • Create emergency and contingency plans for food operations • Integrate culinary arts training program for RVWV residents • Feed approximately 336 residents in RVWV, 3 meals daily, 7 days a week • Feed approximately 312 residents at Philly Home at Girard, 3 meals daily, 7 days a week • Oversee serving line, dining room and manage hospitality during mealtimes • Develop and implement culinary arts training program and employment development opportunities
