Flag Holders are to be made of aluminum with 20” rods and state approved. (IAW The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7-8-57) All Flag Holders will be painted Gold in color with two (2) coats of oil-based paint, and two coats of clear lacquer. There are to be three (3) lugs on the back of each Flag Holder extending 1-3/8”. Top and middle lugs to have two (2) holes each. Top hole nearest body of the holder will be threaded to size required to fit the rod. The two (2) outside holes to be full 3/8” in size. The bottom lug to have one (1) hole nearest to the holder. The rod to be aluminum 3/8”in diameter and 20” overall length, one (1) end pointed to fit the holder and hammered (preened) at the threaded end to attach the rod firmly to the holder. Flag holder rods must be ground to a point. The holder must be washed or blown clean of dust from sanding before delivery.
