Specifications include, but are not limited to: FURNISH SAFETY CONSULTING AND TRAINING SERVICES. The City of Hobbs employs approximately 460 full and part time employees working in avariety of departments/functions such as: Police, Jail, Fire, Library, Parks & Recreation,Cemetery, Finance, Water & Sewer, General Services and Engineering.The City is seeking a safety consultant to provide the following:1.Conduct monthly safety meetings for all employees.2.Attend and provide training, guidance and direction at monthly SafetyCommittee meetings.3.Conduct annual job-site inspections, or as needed in special situations.4.Provide employee training needed to stay in compliance withOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.5.Maintain documentation of safety program participants and individualtraining records including coordination of records with the City HumanResources Specialist.6.Review, recommend and update as necessary all current safetyprograms. Develop new safety programs based upon need.7.Conduct and/or arrange for employee safety training and maintenance asit becomes necessary.8.Review and recommend Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)requirements to the City.9.Consultant shall recommend safety equipment purchases when deemednecessary.10.Monitor safety devices throughout the organization.11.Prepare annual report summarizing the activities and accomplishments inthe City's Safety Program and submit to the City Manager
