The project scope will include, but not be limited to the following: 1) Once notified of the potential problem, indicate to the contracting party a plan for abating the situation. 2) Pre-survey the area in question and follow PA One Call rules and regulations. 3) When the work area has been identified, follow the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specification: Publication 408 for excavation, backfill, and restoration procedures. 4) Upon completion of work, the project site must be restored to the original condition within 30 days. This will be strictly enforced by the city inspectors. 5) In high traffic areas, the installation of “Flowable Fill” will be required as backup material. 6) Invoices for completed work must be submitted promptly and must include detailed breakdowns of labor, equipment, and materials per project. Other Requirements: 1) Contractors shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the repair and Replacement of Sanitary and Storm Sewer Work. 2) The contractor shall be available on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall be available on a twenty-four-hour, seven (7) days a week basis (holidays included). The contractor must be able to mobilize on-site within 2 hours when notified by the city. 3) The Contractor shall furnish names of primary contact persons in the event of an emergency. More than one name is to be supplied. The contractor shall make the necessary provisions and promptly notify the City in the event primary contact persons are not available (i.e., vacation). 4) The contractor shall have a current Contractor’s License in the City. A Master Plumber shall be available on the staff of the firm and licensed in the City.
