This specification outlines the requirements to provide “On Call” emergency environmental response for spills and releases of regulated substances to support response and interim remedial actions of Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) as specified herein. The scope of work requires the Service Provider to initiate a response seven days a week, 24-hours a day within one hour of notification, and provide all necessary equipment and manpower, to stabilize the site, control health and safety hazards, recover free product, prevent additional releases and cleanup, and dispose of all released and response materials. The Service Provider shall follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations including all Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) provisions as outlined in OSHA 1910.120.
