The scope of work for this project is as follows: 1. Pre-assessment a. All prior reports, pertinent drawings, corrosion appurtenances, and major landmarks shall be reviewed before plans for survey begin. b. All permits must be obtained by the proposer before work begins. This includes plant permits for work inside of PGW facilities and gate stations. c. Cathodic protection survey data and reports from prior ECDA reports shall be provided, and these materials shall be reviewed before survey plans are made. d. All cathodic protection appurtenances shall be considered during the preassessment period. This includes rectifiers, magnesium anodes, stray current drainage bonds, test station bonds, and any other mechanism for the mitigation of corrosion on the subject pipeline. 2. Overline Survey/Indirect Assessment a. The proposer shall perform the following three surveys outlined below: i. Close Interval Survey (CIS) 1. The reference electrode must be placed at the mudline above the pipeline. A plan must be submitted if divers are not to be utilized to achieve this requirement. ii. Depth of Cover Survey (DOC) iii. Methane Testing b. All data collected during indirect survey period shall be compiled in a report with pipeline positioning, both with GPS and with survey notation (0+00 format), and with recommendations for digs with severity attached. i. Starting points shall be clearly identified 3. Post-Assessment a. The proposer shall compile all findings in a comprehensive post-assessment report, including recommendations for monitoring or future actions with regards to pipeline integrity.
