OHS is seeking for-profit or not-for-profit applicants to submit a proposal in response to one or more of the options below. 1. Emergency shelter beds for men, women and couples 2. Emergency shelter bedsfor single adult female households 3. Emergency shelter bedsfor single adult male households 4. Emergency shelter beds for households with children at a City-owned location The scope is 24/7, 365 day a year operation of emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The core services include: o Emergency Shelter - A clean and healthy living environment with functioning HVAC, water, fixtures, elevators (if applicable), bedding, dining and common areas - and ability to meet the needs of individuals and families with disabilities. If the Applicant is seeking to operate emergency shelter for families at a Cityowned location, the City will have primary responsibility for this component. o Security & Safety – A safe living environment which includes, but is not limited to: a secured building, safe operating facilities and appliances; properly operating sanitary facilities. o Housing-focused Case Management – Person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based case management to help people identify barriersto long-term housing and provide support and resources to address barriers. o Meals - Provision of three healthy, properly prepared meals daily and snacks. o Data Collection and Reporting – Timely and consistent entering and maintenance of client-level data in OHS’ Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS)
