The ESP Program provides structured, evidence-based parent education and individualized coaching focused on: 1. Positive discipline and behavior management 2. Safe home environments 3. Parent-child communication 4. Family stress management and self-care 5. Child development and age-appropriate expectations 6. Reintegration and reunification support (when applicable) The Effective Safe Parenting (ESP) program team model often includes a multi-disciplinary team, such as a social worker, parent educator, and community nurse, who work collaboratively with the family to ensure a safe and stable environment. 1. Social Worker: Provides case management, assesses needs, and connects the family to resources. 2. Parent Educator: Offers coaching on parenting techniques and may use group-based formats. 3. Community Nurse: Helps assess and address the family's physical and emotional health needs. Provider staff shall be able to: a. Deliver parenting sessions (individual and/or group) consistent with the ESP model or comparable evidence-based curriculum. b. Complete initial assessments and individualized service plans within 10 business days of referral. c. Provide progress reports to assigned caseworkers at least monthly. d. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and court hearings as requested. e. Maintain documentation and data required for CYFS monitoring. f. Offer services during flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
