The following is a Sources Sought Notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The Government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes, or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, has a requirement for a new transcutaneous monitor to measure blood gases during sleep studies.
The device must be able to do the following:
- Measure transcutaneous oxygen (tcPO2);
- Measure transcutaneous carbon dioxide tension (tcPCO2);
- Measure pulse rate (PR);
- Measure Relative Heating Power (RHP);
- Measure vital signs (VS).
The device must have the following salient characteristics:
- US 3-prong AC power with a rechargeable battery backup power supply;
- Digital display;
- Auditory alarms;
- Compatibility with the Lab’s polysomnography (Somnostar v 11.4 Sleep System).
