Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Invitation to Bid (ITB) provides interested parties with sufficient information to prepare and submit bids for consideration by the City of Scranton for Design and Installation of Holiday Light Show at Nay Aug. A. Lighting Equipment Retrieval, Inspection, Installation, Removal, and Storing: Retrieve the lights from storage (within the park), inspect, install, remove, and replace in storage containers after light show / season is over. B. Lighting Installation: Provide a cost for installation of lighting equipment including brackets, electrical materials, equipment rentals using PA Prevailing Wage Rates (see attached). This project will be installed in Fall / Winter 2024. A planned layout / design of the light show that would reinvigorate the public interest in attending the show. Note: The light show runs daily from 5 pm – 10 pm, Thanksgiving to the first week in January. C. Electrical System / Waterproofing Upon Installation: A proactive plan to waterproof and protect lighting from surges or failed electrical system components throughout the wet fall/winter months. This will need to be accounted for at all light fixtures, joints/connections, and electrical supply points throughout the planned set up within the park.
