Specifications include, but are not limited to: Obtain and implement managed network security elements within all networks associated with the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety (MCDPS), to include, but not be limited to: cybersecurity audit, analysis and penetration testing, personnel training, installation of network security monitoring hardware and software, activation of 24/7/365 network monitoring, support, intrusion response and recovery, and development of strategies and policies for preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from any potential network threats, intrusions, or breaches in order to prevent terrorism and prepare the County for threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to its security.
