Scope of services include, but are not limited to: studies, roadway design, bridge design, services during construction, general municipal engineering tasks, right-of-way acquisitions, NBIS bridge inspections, construction management and construction inspection. The selected firm will be expected to provide structural engineering and design related services including, but not limited to, the preparation of bridge repair contracts, preliminary engineering, environmental studies, geotechnical/foundation engineering, final design, construction inspection/management and initial NBIS inspection of bridge repair and rehabilitation projects in accordance with FHWA, AASHTO, NBIS and PennDOT standards for all bridges located in the County regardless of size and type.
