Specifications include, but are not limited to: Attend and conduct community meetings at the rate of 25-30 per dayMonitoring 150 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) workersConducting home visitsOutreach and visits to 10 of 160 of safe corridorsOngoing recruitment, training and certification of Town Watch volunteers, as well asSafe Corridor VolunteersDelivering training in the field and in the office, such as Jr. Town Watch membersworkshops, and conflict resolution sessions within schools and at area police districtsParticipating in evening patrolsInventory, inspection, distribution and maintenance of equipmentOutreach to Town Watch groups and Town Watch members to provide assistanceMeetings with Police CaptainsServe as presenters and panelists at workshops, symposiums and other eventsPrepare and deliver testimonies at legislative hearingsRespond to specific incidents within the communityParticipation and distribution of materials at events hosted by elected officials andcommunity organizations
