Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to empower Lead Agencies in their collaboration with schools to effectively implement the Community School strategy. Strong partnerships between schools and communities foster supportive environments that provide personalized social, emotional, and academic assistance tailored to the unique needs and strengths of students, families, and communities. This RFP aims to support Community Schools by connecting them with Lead Agencies that will hire Community School Directors (CSDs). These directors will work collaboratively with school leadership, staff, students, families, and the wider community to develop and execute the Community School strategy. Research highlights that effective partnerships are crucial for the success of high-functioning Community Schools. The Community School strategy transforms a school into a place where educators, local community members, families, and students work together to strengthen conditions for student learning and healthy development.
