This bid is for the procurement of two (2) firewalls for the City TMC network. Here are the following options: • Two (2) Fortinet 601F series firewalls; or • Two (2) Cisco 3110 series firewalls; or • Two (2) Alternate Equal firewalls; The Contractor shall provide all hardware, communications and power cabling, onboard software, and service packages required to operate the proposed firewall option. All bid items must be certified in writing by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). All bid items must be provided to the City in OEM packaging. Requirements pertaining to the firewalls are listed below: • Firewall Services Needed o Physical and logical segmentation o Redundancy – provide two (2) identical synchronized firewalls for redundancy and automatic failover o Advanced Threat Protection and One-time Password protection o 5-year maintenance/service plan • Firewall Use Cases o Defense layer between the traffic signal cabinets and the City network ▪ The traffic signal networking equipment is difficult to fully secure outside.
