This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible manufacturers that can supply the Chlorate Candle NSN 4460-00-875-4568 and Ignitor 4460-01-043-7635 under a potential five-year, Long-Term, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract.
Interested manufacturers are requested to review the item descriptions carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions.
The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items.
Interested manufacturers should contact the Contracting Officer, Tamika Hines, DLA Troop Support – Construction & Equipment; tamika.t.hines@dla.mil with information such as market pricing, delivery times, experience with the manufacture of the items, and any other pertinent information.
This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purposes of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought notice. If a solicitation results, it would be synopsized on the sam.gov website and subsequently published on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). It would be the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor the websites for any such notices.
