This project consists of the bridge replacement of Byberry Road (S.R. 7301) over CSX Railroad, in the City of Philadelphia. The proposed bridge is a single-span composite steel multi-girder structure. The bridge will be constructed in three stages to allow traffic to be maintained during construction. Other improvements include a retaining wall on the west side of the roadway, utility relocations, approach paving for approximately 600 feet to the south and 800 feet to the north, sidewalk, driveway adjustments, updated traffic signal and lane striping and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 7301, SECTION GAV, in PHILADELPHIA COUNTY from Station 18+00.00 to Station 37+80.00.
