Specifications include, but are not limited to: The city of Phoenix is soliciting qualification Statements for an experienced business consultant to work as a Business Advocate and provide business information to companies located along the Phoenix METRO Light Rail Corridor – Northwest Extension. The Business Advocate will ascertain the needs of individual business owners and work closely with the city of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department’s Light Rail Transit Team to make referrals to programs and services offered by the City or other business assistance partners. The goal of this assistance is to help business owners minimize operational impacts before and during construction of the light rail Northwest Extension. Prior experience helping small businesses during long term construction projects is desirable, but is not required.
