• Cleaning, routine bridge rehab work, vegetation removal, clearing and grubbing, demolition, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of bridge elements, including bridge roadway approach elements. • Providing microcomputer and software necessary for operating the City's inventory of moveable bridges. • Operating, if directed, the City's inventory of moveable bridges. • Rehabing or replacing aid-to-navigation lights on City bridges over waterways. • Rehabing or replacing decorative or ornamental lights on City bridges. • Cleaning, rehab, vegetation removal, clearing and grubbing, demolition, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of retaining wall elements. • Cleaning, rehab, vegetation removal, clearing and grubbing, demolition, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of stairways. • Remediation of additional structural issues, including scour and undermining issues in the waterways under bridges. • The Department's facility rehab work that extends beyond typical maintenance. • Constructing temporary work platforms, coffer dams, and dewatering areas for City personnel to access and address bridge issues. • Providing maintenance and protection of traffic to access and address bridge issues. • Providing equipment (e.g. boats, barges, hi-rail lifts, man lifts, under-bridge inspection vehicles) to access, inspect, and address bridge issues. • Digging test pits or collecting roadway core borings, up to 4 feet deep • Collecting borings to evaluate foundations. • Construction engineering, by a Professional Engineer registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as required to complete the work assignments, including any required plan sheets, calculations, or shop drawings.
