These parts are inventory items and must be delivered in 2 days of order. Brake Shoe and Lining: A list of brake shoes and linings used is found at the end of this specification. 1. Brake shoe and lining assemblies must meet or exceed original equipment specifications. This fleet has the following: School buses manufactured by Bluebird, International, Ford, General Motors, Freightliner and Chevrolet. Vans, cars, and trucks are manufactured by Dodge, GMC, and Chevrolet. 2. Core assemblies must be inspected for excessive wear, including removing all grease and contaminants. 3. Assemblies will have the lining removed and the shoe will be shot blasted. Again the table of the shoe will be inspected for metal quality, thickness, cracks, rot, rust, etc. 4. The brake shoe welds and webs will be inspected, including the stretch of the shoe. 5. The brake shoe table will be re-stamped (coining) to true original shape.
