The Work included under this Project consists of Resurfacing the existing modified bitumen roof with a reinforced membrane system; removal and replacement of existing water saturated roofing insulation and associated roofing repairs in selected areas; temporary removal and reinstallation of existing equipment as required for installation of reinforced membrane system; replacement of existing roof copings and through-wall flashings and associated roofing repairs; relocation of one existing cooling tower to existing steel switchgear dunnage with required modifications and associated mechanical / electrical work; provision of equipment curbs and pipe insulation as shown. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor for this project shall be the HVAC Prime Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.
