The Department of Commerce is seeking proposals from business support organizations or other qualified affinity organizations seeking to strengthen support services for its low-tomoderate income entrepreneurs, or microenterprises located in a low-to-moderate area. Selected organizations will be funded to hire or designate a dedicated Technical Assistance Coordinator (TAC) who will offer direct, one-on-one support to small business owners. These proposals should demonstrate how the group’s current efforts help small businesses and explain how Commerce’s funding will enable the organization to expand its impact and provide additional support to these businesses. By offering tailored advice and practical solutions, the Technical Assistance Coordinator (TAC) will help low-to-moderate business owners create stronger, more sustainable businesses. We hope that this support will give entrepreneurs the confidence and resources they need to grow their businesses and reach their long-term goals.
