Specifications include, but are not limited to: The armored car services shall include pick-up from any/all of the locations noted in 1.2 above and delivery of “in-tact” locked or sealed tamper-evident security currency and/or coin bags to the financial institution designated by LANTA. The financial institution shall be provided at time of IFB award. The current Financial Institution is BB&T and the depository location is Philadelphia. LANTA’s current and required pick up schedule for all three (3) locations is on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule. LANTA closes on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays. If a holiday occurs on a scheduled pick up day, the pick-up day would be skipped. Pick up time should not occur before 11:00am, nor later than 2:00pm at all locations. The armored car service must be able to provide secure storage from the time of receipt of currency and coin until disposition. The Bid for basic Services shall include a breakdown for the following: 1. Armored Car Service three (3) times per week for a scheduled pick up of coins and currency at LANTA’s three locations noted in section 1.2 and delivery to a designated financial institution and/or depository. The approximate bag count PER WEEK is as follows: LANTA Administrative Offices – 30-40 Currency Bags & 5-8 Coin Bags Easton Administrative Offices – 10-12 Currency Bags & 5-7 Coin Bags Allentown Transit Center - 5 Currency Bags & 5 Coin Bags 2. If excess bag fees apply, please designate the maximum bag(s) allowed before fees apply and the associated per bag fee for overages. 3. Fuel surcharge fee(s), if applicable and how it is calculated. 4. Indicate how many minutes are allowed during a pick-up before an extended waiting fee is charged. Indicate wait fee. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the physical location of the currency counting room at 1060 Lehigh Street, the Armored Car Service will need to telephone the Finance Staff at the number provided at time of award to make the appropriate Finance Staff aware that the armored car service is approaching the location/onsite and can meet them at the counting room for pick-up. Please be sure to include extra on-site time in the standard quoted fee.
