Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) is seeking a contractor to design and implement a custom-built solution to automate the application, review and approval process for placing students in Approved Private Schools/Chartered Schools for the Deaf and Blind (APS/CSDB), making placement modifications and for tracking and processing payments to APS/CSDBs. PDE anticipates a web-based solution that uses online forms to improve the flow of information between the parties involved while notifications and alerts ensure required actions are taken when needed. The collaborative, online system will enable improved efficiency and increased data accuracy. The selected Contractor will: Validate documentation of current APS process and requirements contained in this RFQ Develop detailed solution requirements Design a solution that meets the requirements Implement the solution Perform any additional tasks necessary to insure successful implementation of the solution
