Kutztown University is requesting Sole Source approval to purchase a Finance Software License package from FactSet Research Systems, Inc to be used in the Applied Investment Management classes. This software provides financial data and application features required for the College of Business course curriculum and allows faculty to provide the highest level of education to enrolled students at Kutztown University. This platform elevates the learning experience provided by the university’s Finance and MBA programs. The use of FactSet software separates Kutztown University’s College of Business from other PASSHE universities due to the recognition by companies in the finance industry, providing students with marketable skills that aid them in their job searches. The contract for supplies or services in in the best interest of the Commonwealth.
