This Sources Sought Notice is intended for information and planning purposes only at this time; and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because this is a Sources Sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of providing Patient Digital Display Boards. The system will be delivered to the Abie Abraham VA Healthcare Center, located in Butler, PA 16001. VETERAN AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER, Butler, PA STATEMENT OF NEED GENERAL SCOPE The government is in the process of acquiring Patient Digital Display Boards for our Abie Abraham VA Healthcare Center. Product will be delivered to our N. Duffy Site as specified in this document. All products will meet the VA specifications and high-quality threshold while integrating excellent environmental stewardship. Product will be delivered to 353 N Duffy Road, Butler, PA, 16001. PRODUCT Item #1: Digital Display Boards Qty 6 Size: 55 Digital Non-Touch Poster Kiosk Single Sided (2) 8W Speakers LCD Screen Android 11 OS Caster Wheels Includes the following software: Windows Media Player / Xpress Content management Software 18 HDMI Cable KICKOFF MEETING The prime contractor(s) shall participate in a kickoff meeting within (10) days of task order issuance, virtually or in person at the VA Butler HCC Campus located at 353 North Duff Road, Butler PA 16001. Time and date will be determined by the VA point of contact. Prime Contractor is to provide the following: Itemized list of products Order Confirmation for all manufactures. Lead/delivery timelines. Information on Installation team including lead/foreman SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS All questions must be received by [date determined by acquisitions]. All questions submitted for this solicitation must be sent electronically to the following email address: [insert CO email or contact information here]. Questions received after the stated date and time may be addressed at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATION The contractor shall submit complete emailed electronic portable document format (pdf) or Microsoft Excel (xls) format of: Schedule for all manufacturing times, shipping dates, delivery dates, and installation dates within 2 weeks of contract award. Complete manufacturer s product specifications Bill of materials tagged by CLIN/room number/department, etc. Product literature and warranty information Price quote with separate lines for labor/installation and any fees DELIVERY and Installation Delivery of furniture must be managed and completed in coordination with VA Standards. No direct deliveries will be accepted by the VA; the vendor must arrange and be present for all deliveries. The VA will turn away any unscheduled deliveries at the vendor s expense. A project manager or project designer and installation foreman must be onsite during installation. Deliveries must be scheduled through the interior design office before installation. Responses to this RFI should include company name, address, point of contact, phone number, and point of contact e-mail, DUNS Number, Cage Code, size of business pursuant to North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 339950, Sign Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is 500 employees. If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? All firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are advised that their response is not a request for proposal, therefore will not be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, information will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website for all qualified interested parties at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for the award. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supplies or services.
