Our facilitator will be required to work onsite 3-4 days & evenings each week, including during summer months, with a focus on the following activities: ● Conduct annual self- assessment process, prioritizing strengths and needs per grant guidance ● Assist school in identification, recruitment and onboarding of family and community interest partners ● Support school based action/advisory team to all interest partners in robust pedagogical dialogue and planning around family & community advocacy, partnership, teaching & learning, diversity, equity and justice ● Assist school in implementation and growth of effective family and community engagement strategies ● Empower staff, students, family and community interest partners to create and sustain socially, emotionally, and academically rigorous learning communities modeled around authentic and respectful two-way communication and understanding ● Facilitate staff training in the academic and school climate benefits of effective family and community engagement ● Facilitate family learning around the requirements of Title I Part A and Family Engagement and strategies for successful students.
