Pennsylvania Game Commission, Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management Howard Nursery has requirements for a Diesel Generator and 400-amp service entrance rated transfer switch. ➤ This is for 120/240-volt, single phase generator with a 250-amp breaker. ➤ This generator will run the entire service. The objective is to not lose electric power at the Nursery due to power outages. The Nursery loses electric power during bad weather because of inadequate infrastructure by the local power company. A backup generator will ensure that electrical power is not lost. By providing a diesel generator the items listed below would continue to operate: a) Seed freezer and seedling coolers to maintain viability of seed and freshness of seedling. b) Wood shops and office to maintain operations. B. The generator is equipped with a 48-hour fuel tank C. All trenching, backfill, generator, automatic transfer switch, generator pad, conduit, fitting, wire, grounding, start up and labor included. D. Filling of diesel tank by others. Seeding by others. E. Patching & Painting (if required) by owner.
