To acquire leased fiber optic cable to connect all district buildings forming a Wide Area Network (WAN) available for HASD’s exclusive use. The WAN may consist of special construction, dark or lit fiber, services over third-party networks, or a self-provisioned network. The WAN must be Capable of a minimum of 100 GB bandwidth. Initial bandwidth requirements will be 25 GB or 100 GB depending on site as described below. The WAN will be a physical or virtual huband-spoke topology. The hub will be located at Arthur Street Elementary School (424 East 9 th Street, Hazleton, PA 18201). The primary district server room is located at the Hazleton Area Career Center (1415 West 23rd Street, Hazle Township, PA 18202). The connection between the Hub and Server Room will be 100GB. All other connections will initially be 25GB but may be upgraded to 100GB at any time
