Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverables should position Gladstone as a welcoming tourist destination in the Portland Metro region by: Leading brand/messaging development for Gladstone-targeted visitors Developing integrated marketing strategic plan and recommending the appropriate media, media opportunities and strategies to be most effective in achieving Gladstone tourism objectives – To Be Determined by firm - within budget parameters Working closely with the City's Tourism Consultant and Development Representative to coordinate downtown business contacts, promotions, events and services. Creating agreed-upon timeline deliverables 1-3 meetings with community members and businesses to collect input on tourism needs; 1 meeting may be substituted by a survey if there is representational participation Suggesting future grant and other fundraising opportunities: possibilities should include: Travel Oregon and Mt. Hood Territory grants Providing brand style guides and messaging, to be integrated and used by city in-house staff and others as identified through the process Establish metrics and tracking methodologies appropriate for advertising and marketing programs Making recommendations for future use of TLT funds Opportunities for immediate implementation marketing and branding options, including potential experience – based products/programs Establishing an organized repository of all images purchased and used on behalf of City of Gladstone
