Specifications include, but are not limited to: design and construction of Pre-Stressed concrete reservoirs, booster pump stations and water transmission pipelines. This project is to be designed and constructed in two phases using the progressive design-build delivery method: Phase 1: Preconstruction Phase and Phase 2: Construction Phase. The general phase 1 project scope will design, permit, and construct the following upgrades to the City of Tigard's water system. • New Reservoir 18: Provides 3 million gallons (3MG) of water storage. Type AWWA D110 prestressed circular concrete tank. • Replacement of Pump Station (PS) 13 to pump water from Reservoir 13 to Reservoir 18. • New water line from PS 13 to Reservoir 18. • New pipeline from Reservoir 18 to feed the 560 Pressure Zone (PZ). • New Pump Station at Reservoir 18 or Bifurcated Pump Station 13 to serve as backup to PS 17 to supply Reservoir 8. • Additional improvements to be considered include: • Upsizing and/or improvements to water mains in the distribution system for system resilience and to meet level of service. • New PRV station at the intersection of SW Bull Mountain RD and SW River Terrace Blvd.
