Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County, (including its component units of the Housing Authority of Clackamas County, Water Environment Services, Service District #5, Surface Water Management Agency of Clackamas County, Clackamas County Development Agency and North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District), seek the services of Materials Testing Laboratory and Special Inspection firms with expertise in various phases of design and construction of public buildings and facilities throughout the County. It is anticipated that selected firms will review, test, inspect and document existing conditions, architectural or engineering documents, construction materials and assemblies according to applicable codes, regulations, and standards. 1. Existing Conditions: Perform forensic tests or inspection as directed in writing on property or buildings prior to, during or after acquisition to determine existing conditions of a site, building, or project (Environmental site surveys and hazard documentation, EIR preparation, and site remediation services are not included in the scope of services for this RFQ). 2. Required Tests: Materials testing is as required by the construction documents. These tests may include but not be limited to the following materials: concrete, soils, masonry, rebar, roofing, and steel. Some construction documents may require other testing which may require a testing laboratory. 3. Required Special Inspections: Special inspection is as required by the construction documents. These special inspections may include but not be limited to the following materials: concrete, soils, masonry, welding, and wood. Some construction documents may require additional special inspection.
