Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Oregon Renewable Energy Siting Assessment (ORESA) project will first involve compatibility assessments that will collect information relevant to communicating the breadth and depth of Oregon’s hosting capacity for potential renewable energy and high-voltage electric transmission development, and build an understanding of the constraints and opportunities that come with energy infrastructure in specific locations. The state will use the results of the compatibility assessments to produce a final Assessment Report and Mapping Tool to promote renewable energy siting that sustains military operations while balancing the natural resources and economic development goals of the state.
