Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded Consultant shall provide IH services on an as needed basis at ODOT facilities and worksites in assigned regions throughout the State of Oregon. At the request of the Agency, the selected Consultant shall provide IH services which may include, but are not limited to, testing, sampling, monitoring and identifying hazardous conditions that may impact the occupational health of ODOT employees. Some specific services may include testing or monitoring for: Indoor air quality Mold, fungi, and bacteria Water quality Crystalline Silica, or other hazardous dust related to construction or construction like activities Asbestos Volatile Organic Compounds (“VOCs”) High noise exposure Welding fume, including hexavalent chromium exposure Development of abatement, remediation or hazard control plans to address any of the hazards listed above Review and comment regarding site safety and health plans Review of proposed new chemical products for processes Consultation and assistance for ODOT Facilities regarding a variety of building health and safety issues: lead, Printed Circuit Board’s (“PCB’s”) in electrical systems, pest control, etc. Consultation regarding office and industrial ergonomic safety improvements, best practices and innovative equipment Providing advanced technical training regarding occupation health and IH to ODOT employees
