Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Vendor should be using a nationally certified lab. 2. The B-SOBR Court should have access to the vendor’s drug screen software program, allowing B-SOBR Court access to all drug screen information pertaining to B-SOBR participants. 3. All drug screen results need to be provided to B-SOBR Court within 48 hours of actual drug screen. a. Notification of a drug screen result being either positive or negative is not sufficient. The complete drug screen result is to be provided. b. Notification of all dilute drug screens and missed drug screens is to be provided to the B-SOBR Case Manager within 48 hours of the scheduled drug screen. c. These results could be provided online, in the vendor’s drug screen software program. Or they could be provided through faxing or emailing of complete drug screen result to B-SOBR Case Manager. 4. One drug screen is to be provided by a B-SOBR participant weekly. 5. Drug screens are to be randomly scheduled. a. Vendor is to use a system in picking the date of a drug screen, which gives each day of the week, a one in seven chance of being picked, for that week. i. Drug screens should be provided seven days a week, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
