Part A: Access Control Requirements: ● Accepted manufacturer is SALTO ● All buildings are included in this rfp. ● District mechanical hardware standard is VON DUPRIN. All buildings in the district will have doors/openings identified on System Surveyor drawings. ● District is preference is to use hardwired controllers for head ends in the building MDF/IDF locations. Single Door controllers may be used in the field if cost effective for labor reasons. Single door controllers need to be mounted in secure enclosures, preferably above ceiling grid with labeling on grid for easy location of devices. ● HEADEND will be SPAONL starter kit and customer will provide Windows VM for software installation. All Main Entrances will utilize SALTO CU door controllers, SALTO WRDM0AV keypad/readers, Axis 8207-VE Mk II Door Station, and HES electric strikes. ● ALL GYM doors will be online and require appropriate SALTO nodes/gateways. ● All other doors will be bidders recommended, cost effective solution utilizing either hardwired CU door controllers, keypad readers or XS4 Original+ Full and Half escutcheon wireless locks. ● ALL padlocks will be SALTO Neoxx G3. ● Main Entrances all require Axis 8207-VE Mk II Door Station to integrate with customers’ existing phone systems (via SIP) as well as a physical door grant button in the main office for remote door grant/release. ● Each main office will also need an STI SS2431LD-EN lockdown button wired to nearest CU door controller for initiating lockdown. ● Add door contacts to all access controlled doors to provide door held open alarms. If necessary use double pull, double throw to report status to access control and intrusion as needed. ● Provide REX option for each access control door. ● Access control doors with ADA operators must be fully integrated to SALTO solution. ADA buttons shall always allow egress from inside the building. Outside the building buttons shall only be functional if a valid credential has been presented or a scheduled open is running. Ensure each opening has a seamless experience with no blockages of pathway into or out of the building. ● District intends to utilize Mobile credentials and anticipates roughly 750 mobile credentials. Credentials provided in the starter kit will also be utilized as needed. ● Work with district to perform initial programming/configuration of the system to district standards. 1. Setup initial system to ensure all doors are added to the system and functional. 2. Setup administrative users in the system. 3. Setup operational schedules by building. ● Commission the system to ensure proper functionality with final sign off by the district. ● Provide 4 hours training on the solution to individuals designated by the school district. Training should cover all aspects of the SALTO ecosystem for school district to be able to support themselves. ● Precise Floor Plans with Doors: The contractor must provide detailed and accurate floor plans that clearly indicate the locations of all installed devices. These plans are critical for enabling effective navigation and monitoring within the system.
