Specifications include, but are not limited to: • There are (approximately 158) catch basins in the Salem area, (38) catch basins in the Portland area, and three (3) in the Eugene area. The number of catch basins has not yet been determined for the Wilsonville area, but will be determined after Contract award. The Owner will contact contractor to develop the schedule and coordinate the services on an as-needed basis. Owner will determine which catch basins will need cleaning, as there may be instances where not all will need to be cleaned. A list of structures to be cleaned will be supplied to the contractor at the time Services are requested. Tentative schedule would be cleaning at the Portland Crime Lab annually with cleaning all locations bi-annually. • Some catch basins in various areas have Stormwater 360 filtration systems that will need serviced as requested by Owner. Tentative schedule would be to inspect and service if needed every three (3) years. • One catch basin in Eugene has a AquaShield oil separators that will require servicing as requested by Owner. Tentative schedule would be to inspect and service if needed annually. • Document and provide to Owner a list of all catch basins that are found to have Stormwater filtration systems or oil separators. • Contractor shall provide cleaning and ancillary maintenance services to catch basins located in state owned structures in Salem, Portland, Wilsonville and Eugene. And, shall furnish all qualified personnel, labor, permits, materials, necessary tools, travel, equipment, delivery / mobilization costs, utilities, supplies, insurance, taxes, vehicles and transportation services, and all other expenses necessary to perform and complete the services. • Remove all debris from catch basins. • Remove and capture all sediment, debris and associated pollutants into a vacuum truck. • Transport and dispose of all liquids and materials off site to a proper collection site and provide all required disposal permits. • Required to have small truck(s) available to get into lower levels of various state parking areas, should services be required for those locations. There is low clearance to these locations.
