Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide all transportation, freight, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, permits, and necessary materials to install a new forced air heating/cooling system that will service the office area of the TSSU Building. ; Contractor shall provide one (5) ton, 98,000 Btu input, 96%, 2 stage gas furnace, one (5) ton A/C indoor coil and one (5) ton, 13 seer, R410a, single stage condensing unit. The heating unit and the indoor A/C coil will be located in the existing furnace room. The condensing unit will be located on the roof top, at the existing location. Contractor shall provide new electronic air filter. Contractor shall provide all necessary sheet metal duct transitions, including new flexible canvas connections, to adapt new furnace and A/C coil to existing connections. Contractor shall provide new furnace exhaust stack with concentric termination kit. The roof penetration will be sealed with a weather tight system, approved by the Project Manager. Contractor will provide new soft drawn refrigeration line set from furnace to roof top condensing unit. Condensate to be drained to nearest acceptable location, either in the building or to outside wall. Contractor will provide line hide covers for all the line sets, located in the area served. The contractor is responsible for providing system startup and commissioning per manufacturer’s specifications Contractor will provide all needed permits as required by the city and county. Contractor will provide sub-contracted electrical services to disconnect and reconnect new system. Contractor will provide crane service to remove and install new roof mounted condensing unit. The contractor shall perform proper installation activities to result in best appearance and serviceability on all equipment.
