Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project is Phase 2 of the Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant (CBWTP) Diversity Project that will create additional communications infrastructure conduit pathway, cross-connect cabinet sites and vaults to facilitate a new redundant and diverse backbone fiber optic cable system within the Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant (CBWTP) located at 5001 N Columbia Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. Specifically, this phase of the project will extend new conduit and vault infrastructure pathway beginning at the existing HUB 2 cross-connect cabinet location to existing communications vaults adjacent to the Digester Control Building. The project will also create two (2) new cross-connect cabinet sites designated as HUB 2 and HUB 3 in addition to new building entrances, new inter-set vaults and inter-connectivity with existing conduit infrastructure to enhance route redundancy, route diversity and disaster recovery capabilities. Total route distance is approximately 1,014 feet of new underground pathway; two new utility vaults; one new inter-set utility vault over existing conduit; two new poured in place concrete cabinet bases; four new seismically reinforced cross-connect cabinets; and two new building entries.
