UPDATE 1
DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, material, transportation, supervision, items, and services necessary to replace 200 FEET OF PICKET FENCE AND TWO PEDESTRIAN SWING GATES (an increase from the original scope of replacing 80 feet of fence and one gate) to match the current style and size at U.S. Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay. The contractor shall remove the existing fence, prepare the site, and install the new fence and gates, ensuring uniformity with the existing design and compliance with industry standards. All work must meet or exceed OSHA Safety and Health Standards. Further details of this project, including the expanded scope of work, are included in the Statement of Work UPDATE 1 (SOW) provided in the documents section of this solicitation.

Perid of Performance:
Contractor shall complete all work, deliverables and outcomes within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed is given by the Government.
Classification:
This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors), cross-referenced as fencing contractors (except electronic containment fencing for pets). The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order.

No more questions will be answered after 09/25/25.

Quote submission:
All quotes are required to be submitted on SF 1449 with a breakdown of all costs. Submit quotes to the following e-mail address, Patrick.R.Gittings@uscg.mil, with solicitation RFQ number 70Z03325Q201900004 in the subject line. Date of offers due is 09/26/25 at 3pm (PDT). All offers that are submitted late (by day and time zone) and quotes that do not include a breakdown of cost will not be considered in the award determination.
Award:
It is the government’s intent to select for award to the one responsible quote which proposes a price that is fair and reasonable and provides the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) quote meeting the specifications of the requirement. If the lowest priced quote is not found to be technically acceptable, the contracting officer will evaluate the next lowest priced quote, and so on. Quotes determined to be incomplete, unreasonable, or unrealistic will not be considered for award. Under FAR 4.1103 prospective contractor shall be registered in System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Failure for contractors to be registered in SAM shall result in Contracting Officer proceeding with the next successful registered offeror. Website: www.sam.gov
